A year ago the Jersey City Museum thought it was a good idea to feature the immense talent of the thousands of artists that reside in the northern portion of Hudson County. While the area of Manhattan south of the Holland Tunnel, frequented by the artistic community, earned the name of SoHo, there was a thought that the areas of North Bergen, Weehawken, West New York, Hoboken and Union City could be known as “NoHu.”
