On April 29, a Free Community Health Fair will be held from 11a.m. to 3p.m. at the Community Hall on 514-52nd Street, West New York. The Fair has been planned by the West New York Cuban Lions Club and the Hackensack Meridian Health Palisades Medical Center.
Free Health Tests and Screenings
A number of free health tests and screenings will be open to the public. They include:
- Blood Pressure and Pulse
- Blood Test for Diabetes (A1c)
- Cholesterol screening
- Percent of oxygen in the blood
- Pulmonary Function Test
- Vision Screenings
- Glaucoma Screenings
- Dental Screenings
Furthermore, information about Alzheimer’s Disease, Dementia, Mental Health and Sleep Disturbance will be provided.
